GOLEM
are a melodic death metal band founded in Bari, Italy, in 2000.
The line-up is Matteo De Bellis (guitars & vocals), Ottavio
Marzo (guitars & backing vocals), Domenico Bottalico (bass
guitar), and Damiano Porcelli (drums).
"DEATH NEVER DIES", third work
of the band, was recorded in 2002 with Nicola Esposito, singer until
October 2003.
"Death Never Dies" has been :
5 times Top Demo on different
specialized magazines among which Metal
Hammer and Rock Hard.

… and still: “Your Deepest Fear” (2nd
track of “D.N.D.") figures in the Wild Zine
and in the n° 8/2003 of Rock Hard magazine compilations.
Golem played with Natron, Heimdall, White Skull, Centurion,
Kiss of Death in important metal festivals (Pluvia Metalli,
Total Metal Festival, Black Sunrise Metal Festival, God Bless
the Metal Festival, III and IV Edition of the Memorial Roberto
Orlandi).
In 2003 Golem reached a deal with the French label DIAMOND
PRODUCTIONS/ ADIPOCERE for the official release of “Death
Never dies” (remixed version by Dario Mollo).
The CD was released on September 2003 for a worldwide distribution.
In 2004 Golem recorded a four songs promo "DEATH
IN PROGRESS" exclusively
directed to labels. In the same year, they played some gigs all over Italy.
In 2005 Golem, after a mini tour with Panic Cell in
Italy, started the recording session of “BLACK
ERA”, their first full-length.
